Bass, acoustic and beyond with our latest studio progress.
In the latest studio session we spoke of making some improvements to our song " Promise ".
The track has always had a strong foundation, but we felt the bass line needed a smoother , more natural flow. After working round a few ideas Mick Cope reshaped the groove and Gary Porter also added a new layer of acoustic guitar ( Takamine ).
Once those parts were in place, engineer Simon Davies dived into the next stage of the process editing five songs from the upcoming album.
It was a detailed hands on session where he tightened arrangements, polished transitions and made sure every eliment served the overall sound. ( Which now has a Porter Brotherhood identity ).
Each track is starting to come to life in a way that reflects what the Porter Brotherhood is all about. Honest music with heart.
